Going to Dolly Parton’s Stampede was a special experience for me because I got to celebrate with my family and friends. From the moment we walked in, it felt like more than just dinner it felt like an event.
The food was actually better than I expected. The meal is known for being a full country style feast with items like rotisserie chicken, pulled pork, soup, biscuits, and sides served while you watch the show (Visit Missouri). I honestly thought it might just be average, but it turned out to be pretty good.
The show itself was phenomenal. I would rate it a 10 out of 10. There were so many exciting moments with talented cowboys and cowgirls performing tricks and riding horses in the arena. The show includes real animals like horses and even buffalo, which was a big surprise and made it feel more real and exciting (Branson.com). One thing I didn’t care for at first was the seating. You may have to sit next to strangers, which can feel a little uncomfortable. But honestly, it ended up making the experience even better because the people we sat with were really nice, and it added to the fun atmosphere.
Overall, the combination of food, live entertainment, animals, and audience interaction makes this dinner show something unique. It’s not just a meal, it’s a full experience that you can enjoy with others and remember for a long time.
